Mark DiFiore, President of MPD has over 21 years of experience in the construction trades. With over 16 years as a General Contractor specializing in major additions, decks, remodeling bathrooms, kitchens and floor coverings. MPD carries certifications from all the major floor covering manufacturers. MPD also provides and performs framing, roofing, siding, finish carpentry and custom carpentry services.

Customer satisfaction is paramount to us. MPD will gladly discuss and explain any phase of your project. MPD values your business. Our aim is to provide the highest level of service possible.

MPD Work Procedures:

Every contractor and project has a distinct style.
The following lists what you can expect from MPD.

• Crews: Our entire company consists of skilled craftsmen. Mark personally supervises the majority of the work on all projects.
• Job Site: MPD strives to maintain a neat job site at all times. That promotes safety, quality work, employee productivity.
• Tools: MPD is equipped with the best quality tools in order to work as efficiently as possible. Our tools include air guns that drive nails and staples. Safety is a major concern at MPD, we request that children and pets remain outside the work area at all times.
• Insurance and Licenses: Our insurance policy and license are available upon request. Clients are encouraged to ask us about them.
• Scheduling: Our scheduling and contract assume we are the only contractor on site. It is imperative MPD be notified immediately if this assumption is incorrect at any time during a project This policy is an issue of security and to protect the home owner.
• Homeowner Intervention: Sometimes scheduling is based on the homeowner performing some tasks before a project is allowed to proceed. MPD must be notified about any changes that may affect our work. We understand that a client may desire to perform some phases of the project themselves. If this is something you are considering, please feel free to discuss your plans with MPD before any scheduling begins.
• Contract: all MPD work is based on contract prices. The contract amount is divided into progress payments. Once a contract is signed, you will be given a proposed start and a proposed completion date. At this time the first payment is due. The due dates of the remaining payments will be determined by mutual agreement, with final and total payment due upon completion of the project.
• Pricing: We highly encourage our clients to get at least three quotes for any project. This process allows you to meet and evaluate other contractor presentations, ideas and pricing. This careful process assists in finding you the best match for you and your project. MPD recommends you only enter into a contractual relationship with a contractor you trust and who you feel will perform a professional job at a reasonable price. MPDs’ prices are not the cheapest. MPD performs quality work and our prices are usually in the middle range for any project.
• Quality: MPD builds and designs projects to be an attractive investment in your home. MPD uses the finest materials and finishes available.
• Changes: After a project is planned and started, any change can be costly. Please be aware of this and keep it in mind. MPD plans projects carefully considering multiple objectives… cost-quality-materials-your desires and satisfaction-scheduling, etc. Please discuss your ideas before planning gets too far along. Any and all changes will be charged over and above the proposed price.
